Sisterhood's Sacred Call: Awakening Ancient Wisdom in Modern Times

Throughout history, women have gathered in circles, shared wisdom, and woven together the fabric of communities through their sacred connections. From ancient priestesses sharing knowledge in temples to grandmothers passing down healing traditions in kitchen gardens, these bonds have been the invisible threads holding societies together.

In every culture, we find evidence of women's circles and sacred collaborations. Native American women gathered in moon lodges, sharing stories and wisdom during their monthly cycles. African grandmothers held councils to make important tribal decisions. European wise women met in forests to exchange herbal knowledge and healing practices.

These weren't merely social gatherings – they were powerful incubators of wisdom, healing, and community leadership. Our foremothers understood that when women gather intentionally, magic happens. Problems find solutions, wounds begin healing, and wisdom flows freely between generations.

What drew me to writing about this was speaking at Soul Speaks Business Retreat in Brighton last weekend held by my mentor Laura Beddoe Collins. What happened in that space for me was the exact depiction of what history has been whispering to us for generations, the importance of divine feminine connections and in fact the magic that is created in those spaces. I am not the same woman I was upon entering the vortex we created I can assure you. And in fact I had this knowing even before I entered the event as I curated my FREE webinar Ascend into Divine Feminine Leadership: Overcome Self-Sabotage to Inspire with Integrity intuitively as I felt this shift coming. So the webinar I did deliver this week had extra potency due to the application of the energy I absorbed and embodied during that sacred union of the divine feminines in the room!

It is so important that I do highlight this now as we are going through a shift of reconnection, but I’ll be honest patriarchy dismantled the sacred feminine bond and forced us to see each other as competitors. Evidently, as societies industrialised and modernised, many of these sacred spaces were lost. The village well where women once gathered daily became the lonely kitchen sink. The healing circles transformed into rushed doctor's appointments. The wisdom-sharing became scrolling through social media. While technology has given us new ways to connect, many women feel a deep longing for authentic, soul-level connection with other women. We sense that something precious has been lost in the rush of modern life. That is why you do feel disconnected, because you are!

The Cosmic Call to Reconnect

The current astrological climate speaks deeply to this ancestral calling. We're in a powerful period of feminine awakening, marked by significant planetary alignments that echo the energies of ancient goddess traditions:

- Pluto's transition brings transformation and deep healing of collective wounds

- Neptune's influence heightens our intuitive abilities and spiritual connections

- The North Node's position in Aires encourages us to embrace our authentic power through community

These cosmic energies are creating the perfect conditions for women to rebuild their sacred networks and collaborative spaces and I do want to highlight this isn’t a tear down the patriarchy war on Men this is a tear down an old outdated system and rebuild based on dive union and respect for one another. In spiritualit, in nature women are the life givers of creation, but we equally need the men to plant the seeds correct? This is why it is now about union over one rolling another. The Modern Revival of Sacred Circles

Across the globe, women are now answering this call by creating new forms of sacred gatherings:

- Virtual moon circles connecting women across continents

- Neighborhood wisdom councils sharing resources and support

- Cross-generational mentorship circles

- Healing circles combining ancient practices with modern understanding

- Creative collaborations celebrating feminine expression

These modern manifestations honor our ancestral traditions while adapting to contemporary needs. They provide spaces for:

- Emotional support and authentic sharing

- Spiritual growth and ritual practice

- Knowledge exchange and skill-sharing

- Community building and resource pooling

- Creative expression and celebration

Most of you probably don’t even realise the power of you and your girls WhatsApp group! This is the new age way of creating divine feminine spaces! Again in my webinar I spoke on the tow pillars of divine feminine leadership which for me are vulnerability and empathy. When we can show up and lead from that space we forge deeper connection, respect and love for one another!

And this is the thing, the world is crying out for the qualities that have traditionally been nurtured in women's circles:

- Compassionate leadership

- Collaborative problem-solving

- Holistic healing approaches

- Sustainable community building

- Intuitive wisdom

As we face global challenges, the ancient wisdom of female collaboration becomes not just meaningful, but essential. By reconnecting with these sacred traditions, we're not just healing ourselves – we're contributing to the healing of our communities and our planet which is exactly what I saw head on last weekend. Every single woman that spoke shared her story of transmuting her pain to power/purpose, myself included, that is divinity! You are here at this time on earth for a reason beautiful lady its time to acknowledge your gifts and power so you can too amplify the rise of the feminine.

Steps to Begin

1. Start small: Gather a few trusted friends for regular sharing circles

2. Create sacred space: Designate time and space for intentional connection

3. Honor traditions: Research and respectfully incorporate ancestral practices

4. Stay open: Welcome diversity in age, background, and experience

5. Trust the process: Allow authentic connections to develop naturally, and just BE, hold the space for each other, sit in silence if you have to, that sharing of energy is enough!

The time has come to reclaim our ancestral heritage of sacred female connection. The stars align, the world calls, and our souls remember. In coming together, we're not just honoring our past – we're weaving the future, one sacred connection at a time.
