You Might Be In Your Purpose… But Are You Fully Alive in It
I’m not a fan girl. I’m an It Girl. And no, that’s not about arrogance. It’s about embodiment. Ownership. Truth. It’s about finally reclaiming the version of me that doesn’t perform power, but is power.
I built a career on purpose. first from a dream, then from a calling. I’d choreographed on the biggest platforms, taught in iconic studios, and held space for transformation in more ways than one. As a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher on paper, I had arrived.
But what happens when you’re in your purpose and still feel like something is missing?
When your presence is known, your brand is built, your income is steady… but your fire feels dimmed?
I was burnt out. I was empty and I just wasn’t lit up anymore.
I had to get radically honest:
I had built a life from purpose, but I had evolved. My soul was calling for depth and I had to answer.
Your Blueprint Doesn’t Lie
My Human Design is that of a Manifesting Generator, I’m built to move fast, follow the fire, create from joy. If it doesn’t light me up? It’s a no.
I’m here to do things differently. To collapse timelines. To lead from energy first.
My Leo Sun and Rising were never meant to follow rules.
I was born to shine, not to be seen, but to radiate. Thats where I felt the cap as a performer, I was seen but I wasn’t valued in my wisdom as much as I knew I should be. The indication of my gift came from the countless women and girls I taught. I was consistently reminded of how much of an impact I had made not only to their dance ability, but to their self belief and confidence. That for me was what truly lit me up. That was the call, the pull to purpose.
To counter balance my Leo shiny energy My Capricorn Moon and Saturnian signatures made sure I earned every ounce of that shine. Because my purpose wasn’t gifted to me. It was initiated.
What They Don’t See When They See You
People see the authority. They feel the frequency. They trust the voice.
What they don’t always see:
* Growing up with addiction in the home
* Losing 11 loved ones by the age of 17
* Navigating racism, rejection, and relentless career setbacks
I didn’t just wake up magnetic. I became magnetic by walking through my fire and deciding I would rise again. And again. And again.
This is what I mean by earning it. I believe wisdom much like respect is something you accumulate with consistency. The unequivocal knowing that you were meant for more, or there is more. That for me was my experience. I always knew that what I went through growing up had a greater importance. I always knew I was going to be a role model of sorts and because of that I have spent my life being intentional with how I spend my time and energy and on understanding myself deeply. This is the Saturn theme, discipline and structure, especially when it sits with Capricorn in my 6th house which literally rules routine. I had to grow through what I did, experience the trauma and hardship to be able to come out the other side and show you the way.
So look at your life right now and take note. Based on all you have been through what feels like a lesson you had to learn that you can share? What do you enjoy doing? What are you good at?
The Real "It Girl" Energy
I know you have been taught differently but, the It Girl isn’t the loudest in the room. She isn’t chasing numbers. She’s not bending her truth to be palatable. She’s the one who’s activated. Fully expressed.Leading fully in her truth, not her titles.
This is the energy that builds movements. This is the frequency that creates legacy.
You aren’t supposed to follow the patterns of the women that have done it too. You are supposed to forge your own path based on your inner knowing, your souls blueprint. Thats why it feels empty, thats why it feels meaningless because it isn’t yours.
